The Bone Algorithm
What is the role of technology in our lives? Do we control technology, or does it control us? The Bone Algorithm explores the impact of technology and computers on the core of our humanity. From how we think and feel, to the way we interact with each other. Our existence is dominated by algorithms. Can we get a grip on technology?
Choreographer Amos Ben-Tal, interdisciplinary artist Gosse de Kort and sound designer Salvador Breed created a kinetic music and movement installation. Within this installation, the dancers move like an algorithm, creating sound. The body, the organic informs the technology. It is an attempt to add intuition and empathy to the efficiency of technological systems.
