Are you curious about the role of Bitcoin and the growing influence of Centralized Exchanges (CEX) within the decentralized financial world? During this event, we will explore both the opportunities and the challenges and risks of Bitcoin, as well as examine how platforms like Bybit are shaping the digital currency market.

In collaboration with Bybit, the Blockchain, AI & Quantum minor of BFM is organizing this event. For students of this minor, it is part of their curriculum, but due to the popularity of this topic, we are opening the doors to the entire university!

Meyade Curfs, Senior Business Developer at Bybit, will share his insights into how Bitcoin works, covering both the basic principles and more complex aspects. Additionally, the rise of Bybit will be discussed, a platform that has grown to 65 million users in just six years. We will explore what this development means for the future of the financial system and the role Centralized Exchanges play in it.

The event offers an in-depth yet accessible overview for anyone who wants to learn more about the world of digital currencies. At the end of the session, there will be room for questions and interaction.
