The renowned Dutch photographer Rob Hornstra is coming to The Hague University of Applied Sciences!
Johan Nieuwenhuize, an artist himself and advisor to our art collection, will be in conversation with Hornstra.
They'll delve into his expansive and thought-provoking projects on Russia, as well as other endeavors. How do you classify portraits without losing sight of the subjects' identities? And what does it mean for Hornstra that he's barred from Russia due to his art?
You'll have the chance to ask the artist questions during the interview and mingle with him afterward over drinks.
Hornstra's exhibition, Ordinary People, is still on view until March 17, 2024, at the Fotomuseum Den Haag.
