Pop-up dance performances
As always, it's free for students and staff! No need to sign up.
In The Bone Algorithm, computer code influences the dancers' movements, and their movements inspire the music. This piece explores how, in the future, we might translate artificial intelligence back into natural intelligence.
For this project, choreographer Amos Ben-Tal/OFFprojects is collaborating with interdisciplinary artist Gosse de Kort and sound artist Salvador Breed. The research is currently in full swing. The Bone Algorithm will eventually become an interdisciplinary performance featuring a kinetic installation that generates music through the dancers' movements. The show will premiere on February 13, 2025, at Korzo Theater in The Hague.
About the collaboration between OFFprojects and Korzo
OFFprojects and Korzo each explore the body in space and time through movement, music, visuals, and language. Curiosity drives us. From The Hague, we create, research, and present new perspectives on the future.
The pop-up for The Bone Algorithm is the second in a series of activities we are developing together with The Lighthouse, in dialogue with students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences. We believe that art and movement are powerful tools for reflecting on humanity, society, and the challenges of the future.
