The research group Urban Ageing participates in three COST Action projects. COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a European network to promote transnational cooperation between researchers across the European continent. It is one of the ways to give shape to the European ambitions of the research group.
- The first project is COST Action CA17107 "European Network to connect research and innovation efforts on advanced Smart Textiles" concerning so-called smart textiles. This participation is in line with the knowledge centre Health Innovation.

This project takes a closer look at evidence-based research. By participating, the research group hopes to draw attention to the methodology of practice-oriented research.
- The third project is COST Action CA16226 "Indoor living space improvement: Smart Habitat for older adults". This project takes a closer look at living environments for older adults in the broadest sense.
