Rizal has accumulated knowledge, experience and an international network in the development and application of digital technologies for improving construction quality -and processes.

Lucas is an alumnus of the MSc. Industrial Ecology at TU Delft and now works at FUS as a management assistant and junior researcher developing an Experience Centre, where research, education and the work field merge and collaborate towards the transition to an innovative, sustainable and just society.

Laura works on combining education with research to internalize the learning and application of strategies in nature to design solutions for the built environment. With a PhD in Biomimicry Design Education and a Master of Science in both architecture and biomimicry, she has established herself as a leading expert in her field, making significant contributions to the advancement of how to approach this field by novice designers.

She is affiliated with two Research groups: Circular Business and Future Urban Systems.

Cees is a lecturer of the built environment programmes. Within FUS, he is the explorer of new ideas and he helps link education and research.

Jacco is a teacher in construction technology. His research regards climate adaptation solutions to heat stress, rising water levels and urban heat islands.

Helen has knowledge and experience in structural engineering, restoration and renovation. At FUS, she conducts research on circular transformations.

Noelle has a background in mechanical engineering and data analysis. At FUS, she works on integrating data-driven solutions for urban energy transition.

Britta has obtained a BSc in Built Environment and is currently involved as a researcher in the Paris Proof and Zero Emissions 2040 projects. In addition to these projects, she focuses on biomimicry and climate adaptation, exploring how natural principles can be applied to develop sustainable and resilient building solutions.

Melanie is an architectural engineering teacher that specialises in transformations and renovations. At FUS her research is focussed on circular transformations. 

Maikel’s research topic in the Future Urban Systems Research group is on improving Water management in Developing Countries: Case study Accra, Ghana.

Bram has a background in structural engineering and is currently studying architecture. Within FUS, he works as an assistant researcher and focuses on circular transformations.

Tyra is a junior researcher with a background in building physics and an interest in renewable energy. She works to develop an Experience Centre where research, education, and the work field merge. 

Danielle is a researcher in digitalization with a focus on solutions for the urban environment. At FUS, she combines her experience in architecture, BIM and digital innovation in research projects for climate neutral cities.

Mario is finishing his PhD research concerning "inter-municipal governance model for circular waste management in sustainable cities” at our research group.

Sascha is a student assistant who is interested in the digitalization of the building sector. With her study spatial development, she is focusing on the livability of cities during climate change.

Dean Shenhav, a BSc Mechanical Engineering student at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, works as a student assistant at FUS and organizes events on equitable energy transition. He has extensive knowledge on sustainable mechanical and process engineering.

Daniëlle is a senior management assistant for the research groups Photonics, Smart Sustainable Manufacturing, and Future Urban Systems. She schedules appointments and is responsible for various administrative and organizational tasks, including financial administration, HR support, booking business trips, and event organization.
