dr. ir. Joke Korevaar

Oncological Care

Joke is a lecturer on Oncological Care and leading lecturer in the Medical Delta Living lab Better In Better Out. She trained as a clinical epidemiologist and worked for almost 10 years in the department of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics. She is interested in patients in the aftercare and follow-up phase and later, the so-called 'cancer survivorship'.

Rowie van Drie MSc

Rowie has been working as a Skin Therapy teacher at De HHS for two years. She is affiliated with two professorships: Relational care and Oncological care. Her research is about skin cancer prevention among outdoor workers and outdoor runners (young people).

dr. Lottie Kuijt-Evers

Lottie's research concerns the co-creation of products, services and environments that allow people to function healthily and optimally. She applies this within the Medical Delta Living Lab Better in – Better out, to support people with cancer before, during and after treatment. She combines her position with that of (substitute) Lecturer in Technical Innovations in healthcare at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Roukayya Oueslati, MA, MSc

Roukayya Oueslati is a health scientist, Arabist and religious scholar and is conducting PhD research into shared decision making with ethnic minority groups in oncological care. She also teaches two days in the Nursing course.
She is affiliated with two Research groups: Oncological Care and Relational Care.

Sanne van Veldhoven

Sanne is a dermal therapist and a lecturer in the dermal therapy program. Currently, she is pursuing my master's degree to become a clinical epidemiologist. For the research group, she is conducting research on recognition of benign and (pre) malignant skin cancer by the dermal therapists.

dr. Mark Vondenhoff

Data Science

Mark conducts research at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Data Science and Oncological Care research groups and teaches in the Skin Therapy course. He coordinates a research project on improving the risk detection of suspicious skin lesions in skin therapy practices using eHealth. He is interested in AI for sustainable primary healthcare and evidence-based education.
