Henno is Leading Professor Public Governance and director of the Centre of Expertise. His research focuses on the effective governance of today's complex public systems, such as education and health. Henno has extensive experience in the field of education on issues related to governance and long-term strategy.

dr. Christine Bleijenberg

Associate professor

Centre of Expertise Governance of Urban Transitions

Public Governance

Christine is associate professor Public Governance. Within the research group she coordinates the research line on citizen participation. Together with colleagues, Christine investigates the design, implementation and impact of participation processes, including various citizen councils.

dr. Ibtissam Abaaziz

Senior Researcher

Centre of Expertise Governance of Urban Transitions

Ibtissam works as a researcher and is involved in a collaboration concerning prenatal home visits. She also studies women's groups in The Hague and conducts exploratory research on children of European labor migrants.

She does research for the research groups Urban Social Development and Public Governance.

Stefanie Schuddebeurs

Lecturer-Researcher

Stefanie's research focuses on the themes of migration and participation. She is a sociologist and previously worked on these themes for the government and in her company De Luisteracademie. Stefanie manages multiple projects within the Research Group Urban Social Development.

She does research for the research groups Urban Social Development and Public Governance.

Hasse researches citizens' initiatives and can be approached for lectures and literature on this subject. She can also be contacted for internships around citizens' initiatives. Hasse can also be approached for the energy transition in neighbourhoods of The Hague and the impact of (the guidelines for) the coronavirus and district panels.

Rachel is responsible for the administration of the Centre of Expertise and supports the research groups Public Governance and Civic Technology. Rachel is also the supporter of the Programme Coordinator of the Centre of Expertise and the Leading Professor of Research Group Public Governance.

Jikke Eikelboom

Trainee

Public Governance

Jikke is involved in in multiple research-projects on migration, social initiatives and participation in the Netherlands, particularly in The Hague. Within the research, the link between study and practice is made as much as possible. In this way, students are introduced to major social themes in an educational and investigative manner.
