dr. Ellen Sjoer

Professor

Sustainable Talent Development

After receiving her PhD from Leiden University, Ellen began working in the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at the Delft University of Technology. She has been a project leader for various research projects about e-learning and information management in higher education and at companies. She is also involved in EU projects like Learn RDM in the SME. The first research group she headed at The Hague University of Applied Sciences was the one known as Knowledge Infrastructure for Science and Technology. Ellen also participates in various networks such as the Stichting HRM Lectorennetwerk Nederland and the board of the IACEE (International Association for Continuing Engineering Education). Ellen Sjoer heads the Sustainable Talent Development Research Group since 2011.

Dulci Altorf

Junior Researcher

Sustainable Talent Development

Dulci is working on various research projects concerning the sustainable development of students and workers. Currently, she is involved in research on promoting the flexpertise of workers, the Westland Educational BooST, and the Co-creation research group.

dr. Sylvia I. Bergh

Sustainable Talent Development

Sylvia’s research focuses on the evaluation of learning communities in the public safety and (cyber) security sectors. Sylvia also works for the Research Group Multilevel Regulation, a.o. on governance of AI and public safety.

drs. Annemarie Bergsma

Annemarie conducts research on resilience in professionals. She also works as a lecturer in Nursing at the Faculty of Health, Nutrition and Sport.

dr. Lonneke Frie

Senior Researcher

Sustainable Talent Development

Lonneke conducted her PhD research on the subject of flexpertise, i.e. the ability to renew your expertise throughout your career. She currently leads a team of flexpertise researchers that aims to unravel how flexpertise can promote sustainability transitions, and what the limitations of human flexibility are.

dr. Reinekke Gerding-Lengelle

Researcher

Sustainable Talent Development

Reinekke Lengelle does research on Writing the Self. She has published several Routledge books on grief, wellbeing, and creative methods. Her book on bereavement won two international awards, including the International Qualitative book award.

Janine Haenen MSc

Janine conducts PhD research in student agency: the ability to intentionally steer your learning. She studies how students in open learning environments can be stimulated in their agency.

dr. Miranda de Hei

Miranda is project leader of the Co-creation research group. This group conducts research into how you can design, implement and facilitate co-creation processes. Teachers, students and professionals from the work field collaborate, providing each an equal contribution, to find innovative solutions for complex issues from the field.

Norbert Huyer MSc

Norbert conducts research into flexible assessment within flexible education and the different forms of evidence that can be used. His research focuses on how flexible assessment is perceived and can be designed. He also works as a lecturer in Nursing at the Faculty of Health, Nutrition and Sport.
